Places of interest linked with Lieutenant-General Oliver Cromwell ‘The Commonwealth’

Oliver Cromwell signed the death warrant, together with 59 other men, of King Charles I.  Cromwell was a brilliant military leader and was a Commander in the Army during the British Civil War until he became Lord Protector. The commonwealth was from 1649 to 1660.
