Equestrian statue of the Duke of Wellington is located at the Royal Exchange, London (Bank tube station). The Duke of Wellington (1769-1852) was nicknamed the ‘Iron Duke’ and is most famous for the victorious ‘Battle of Waterloo’ which took place on 18th June 1815, during the reign of King George III.
