The National Art Gallery - Lady Jane Grey 'Nine days a Queen'
‘The Execution of Lady Jane Grey’ oil painting by Paul Delaroche, completed in 1833. The painting points out that she is being assisted to lay her head on the block for the executioner. Execution took place outside the chapel of St Peter ad Vincula (Tower of London) - burial place of Jane Grey, Anne Boleyn and Catherine Howard.
