One of London’s oldest statues is that of Queen Elizabeth I, carved in 1586, in St Dunstan-in- the-West’s church, above the porch in the churchyard, Fleet Street.
St Dunstan was canonised in 1029 and was the favourite saint of English people for over 200 years - buried at Canterbury Cathedral.
