St Paul’s Cathedral - Queen Anne

There is a statue of Queen Anne in the forecourt outside the west front of St Paul’s Cathedral.

St Paul’s Cathedral was designed by Sir Christopher Wren, it is a Grade I listed building, the dome of the Cathedral is the second largest in the world; Sir Christopher Wren was the first person to be buried in the Cathedral.  The Cathedral contains over 200 monuments.

Entrance fee is about £23.00 (adults) and children £10.00, but check the website for special offers.  Many historic events have taken place at this Cathedral including: The Royal Wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer; state funeral of Sir Winston Churchill and Lord Nelson.

Nearest underground St Paul’s - Central Line, a 2-minute walk via Cheapside.
