What attracts a tourist to visit London?

The Royal Family and its history, and the Tower of London is a symbol of ‘royal power’, offering 1000 years of history.

Where in the world can so much history and culture be provided in one place?

The Tower of London is where tourists subconsciously follow in the footsteps of others and embrace the natural attraction of the Tower’s history.

If you have the time to visit one place only in London, then 'The Tower of London' will not disappoint.

The Tower is a fine example of the capital’s well-preserved architecture, the Tower is unique in many aspects such as the display of the Crown Jewels, the unique Yeoman Warders, the Tower’s ravens, chapels, grounds, armoury, museums, not to mention its role as both a palace and prison.

It is not only the most striking aspects of the Tower, such as the display of the Crown Jewels, but other aspects of it, which can perhaps, have a more lasting impression, such as reading and imagining John Gerard, a Jesuit priest, who famously escaped on a rope that strung across the Tower moat on the night of 4th October 1957!
